Liner Notes

This was created at the request of Nick Noble, host of “The Folk Revival” on WICN-FM in Worcester, Mass., U.S.A., for a radio show featuring songs by his program’s listeners. It was recorded in a little bit of haste in my bathroom (the master bath—the house in Urbana had four toilets in three bathrooms, but that’s another story altogether), and it was both the inspiration for Shower Chanteys and the reason that that album was recorded in an actual studio instead of a bathroom.
